It started in a rented flat in the UK with a bed that looked fine but never felt right. The sheets pilled after a few washes, the pillows went flat within weeks, and no matter how we made the bed, it never had that heavy, cocooning comfort we'd felt on holiday — the kind that makes you want to stay under the covers all morning.
We started digging into why hotel beds feel so different. It wasn't expensive mattresses. It was the layers — the weight of the duvet, the density of the pillows, the weave of the sheets, all chosen with real care instead of an afterthought. Most bedding sold on the high street cut corners in exactly those places.
So we set out to build the bedding we couldn't find: proper GSM-weight duvets, pillows that hold their shape, sheets with a weave dense enough to actually last. We spent months testing fills, threads, and finishes until sleeping under a Loomerig set felt like checking into a hotel room — without the hotel price tag.
